Recognising the importance of involving more young people in the energy sector, WPC Energy organises a number of events focusing on young people and their role in the energy industry, including the WPC Energy Youth Forum which will now be held every 2 years.
8th WPC Youth Forum
The 8th edition of the WPC Energy Youth Forum will take place in Kuwait on 22 & 23 October 2025, at. the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel, held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Minister of Oil, Kuwait, Tarek Suleiman Ahmed Al-Roumi.
This year’s theme, "Empowering the Future: Connecting Young Professionals, Ideas & Knowledge", reflects the Forum’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership among the next generation of energy professionals.
Curated by our International Young Professionals Committee, the programme brings together diverse voices and ideas from across the globe. WPC Tomorrow's Leaders Symposium 2015
This European event, which targets young professionals working in the oil and gas industry, was launched in London in 2014, and the second event took place in the Hungarian capital on 8 October, 2015. Almost 80 participants from 18 countries attended the Symposium and discussed the future of European downstream together with renowned experts from leading oil and gas corporations, consultancy firms and universities.
